Every FHS student has a dedicated advisor in their corner, guiding them through weekly meetings focused on academics, goals, and what comes next. Paired with real internship and career-shadowing opportunities, students leave high school with a plan, a resume, and hands-on experience to back it up.

Weekly meetings with a dedicated FHS advisor covering academics, emotional support, and career planning. Every student builds an individualized success plan to map their path to graduation.
FHS Internships
Career shadowing and internship experiences, paired with career speakers and field trips to local businesses and colleges. Students build resumes and get real practice with job and college applications.
OhioMeansJobs Information
As part of Advisory, students can work toward the OhioMeansJobs-Readiness Seal, a recognized credential covering 15 professional skills employers and colleges look for, plus a commitment to being drug-free. Earning it takes validation from three trusted mentors, whether a teacher, coach, or internship supervisor, and it's a strong addition to any resume or college application.
