Testing Calendar
STAR Pre-Post Testing
STAR Pre-Post Testing is required for all FHS students and measures learning growth across the school year. Results are used by the Ohio Department of Education and Ohio Means Jobs to gauge student progress. The fall assessment runs September 1 to 4, 2026, or at admission for new students, and the spring assessment takes place May 12, 2027. Testing is administered at FHS during the school day.
State End of Course Assessments
State End of Course Assessments are required tests that document student learning in six specific courses and count toward graduation for every high school student. They're given at the end of each semester: December 7 to 10, 2026, and April 26 to 29, 2027. Testing takes place at FHS during the school day.
